The Power of I

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some Ideas
Elicited at the Last Two Power of I Meetings
What if . . .
- our older members and younger members
engaged in programs that allowed them to pass wisdom and energy
easily back and forth?
- you looked around the church on a Sunday
and saw many different faces of color, ethnicity, and background?
- those in the larger community continuously
looked forward to attending every special program at our church
because they were confident it would be both stimulating and
relevant?
- tourists could come into our sanctuary and
appreciate our beautiful heritage at a specific time each day when
they could rely on the doors to our church to be open?
- members of the greater Newburyport area felt
that our church was theirs, as a meeting hall where
important-even-life changing-conversations were held?
- we were known as the place to be in
Newburyport because of the clarity and power of our ideals and the
dedication with which we carried them out?
All
it takes is the Power of I:
- First, the Creative Power of I
- Ideas, Insight, Inspiration, and Imagination.
- Second, the Activating Power of I
- Initiative
- Finally, the I That Matters -
The vertical pronoun, standing for me, standing for you
