Act With Courage. Transform Our World. An Invitation and an Opportunity!

How blessed we are to be part of this congregation! There are so many ways that we care for one another—in sickness, in health, in joy, in sadness.

We are at a pivotal moment in our church, in our community, in our country. Things we believe in and value are being challenged every day. How we treat each other with kindness and civility. How we act with courage for social justice. How we transform our world with healing through action. How each of us commits to address our shared Values, Mission and Ends.

Work in these areas may call on us to Act with Courage since challenging the status quo can be uncomfortable. But think about it: to Transform Our World. What an amazing invitation, what an enormous opportunity! Together we can support each other and be part of a group of people who care and are willing to take this on!

The opportunities are all around us. Our worship is both deeply personal and also collectively transformative. Our ongoing ministries change lives with programs such as Young Church, Climate Action, Music, our many working groups, and community commitments such as our Afghan refugee relief. It is this church family and this work, plus the massive ongoing daily work of caring for each other, that are often unseen, that makes us thankful for the opportunity to support FRS.

As you make your pledge, whatever the amount, we ask that you consider making FRS one of your philanthropic priorities. You are important to FRS, and we are so grateful for all your contributions!
