SUMMARY:Justice Sunday - Refugee Immigration Ministry
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, December 1\, Parish Hall\, Soup & Salad at 11:30 am; presentation at noon. When immigrants to the United States apply for asylum\, they are not allowed to work for the following six months. How can they survive with no income? For 38 years\, RIM\, the Refugee Immigration Ministry\, has engaged congregations in an interfaith support system for these people. FRSUU was once an integral part of RIM. On December 1\, the founder and leader of RIM\, the Rev. Dr. Ruth Bersin\, will be at FRS to reintroduce our congregation to the meaningful work that they do.
