Indivisible is the nationwide organization that has been a key organizer of the No Kings and Good Trouble resistance marches. This is an action-oriented group. Now\, Indivisible leaders are encouraging the formation of community-based teams to engage in non-cooperation with the rise of authoritarianism in this country through non-violent resistance. Jane Tuohy and Nancy Kidd invite you to consider ways to strengthen your spiritual capacities. These capacities are what support us as we face our own mortality and that of our beloveds. The program will explore the concepts of intention and resilience\, and specific practices we can develop through “spiritual training\,” including letting go\, acceptance\, attitude\, and resting in presence and the present. There will be time for reflection as well as dialogue with one another. Please bring a notebook to write in. \nRev. Jane Tuohy is a FRSUU member who offers interfaith programming here at church and has focused on interfaith exploration of mysticism and contemplative practices. Nancy Kidd is a FRSUU member and licensed independent clinical social worker.
