Lectio divina is the practice of listening to a poem or reading multiple times to understand what it is saying to you in that moment. What word is speaking to you? What images feel meaningful? What questions are arising as you listen? What invitation do you sense?
Join Julie Parker Amery each Tuesday morning at 11am for a 40-minute session which includes building community with other participants. Sometimes we use a painting or photograph as our prompt (visio divina), or music (musica divina) or a wisdom tale. Come not to interpret the poem or artwork or “figure it out,” but to notice what’s moving in you.
