This Sunday! Walk with Rev. Rebecca and the FRS Team in Jeanne Geiger’s 28th Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence.
Sunday, October 6, meet at Waterfront Park, 1 Market Square (located behind Firehouse Center for Arts), Newburyport, 8am registration, 9-11am walk. The walk will start with an interfaith invocation given by Rev. Rebecca and progress rain or shine for a 3-mile scenic walk around Newburyport. Hear live music and nosh on refreshments throughout the morning. Proceeds from this important event allow the crisis center to provide life-changing and saving programs and services to the community such as: 24-hour emergency hotline, family-centered crisis counseling for adults and children, art therapy, court advocacy, on-staff legal representation, and emergency and transitional housing. Register today. Cost of registration is $35/person (+ online processing fees).
