2026 Wilson Series Concert: Palaver Strings
Sunday, February 1, Sanctuary, 4pm. Streamed on YouTube. (Sanctuary and LMH Room A reserved from 2:30-6pm).
Palaver Strings: Based out of Portland, Maine, the Grammy-nominated, musician-led and nonprofit organization Palaver Strings seeks to strengthen and inspire community through music. Committed to performance, education, and creative collaboration, Palaver specializes in programming underrepresented voices. The term “palaver” comes from the term “palaver hut,” a traditional place for discussion and conflict resolution in Liberia and other West African countries.
