Saturday October 26, FRS Habitat Salisbury build – seeking volunteers. FRS continues its partnership with Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity by fielding teams to build affordable, owner-occupied homes. A volunteer Habitat coach and site manager will match you with a task you can enjoy and accomplish.
Our FRS Habitat initiative is an example of FRS’s strong and outward-looking community. At least one Saturday every month, an FRS team of eight to ten connect with other Habitat volunteers and Habitat home buyers to build seven homes in Salisbury. No experience or specialized skill in construction are required—just your recognition of our FRS affirmation that “Service is our prayer.” We have promised Habitat that we will have a team of volunteers to work on Saturday October 26, November 23, and December 21. If you have skills and experience in building, Tom may be able to connect you with the Thursday team, a talented and merry group of volunteers.
