Join us in welcoming Reverend Helen Murgida as our newest affiliate minister. As an affiliate minister Helen, along with Rev. Stan Barrett our other affiliate minister, will be supporting Rev. Rebecca and our congregation in several ways. She will be available to officiate memorial services and weddings for people who are not FRS members, be available for pastoral coverage when Rev. Rebecca is away and lead some adult faith formation. She is also interested in beginning the important work creating a team to begin reviewing our accessibility for people with physical differences and needs. Helen has been an important part of our beloved community for many years. We are thrilled to welcome her into this new role.
About Helen
Helen Murgida is an interfaith minister with a degree and ordination through the Maine Chaplaincy Institute. Before that she worked a full and rewarding career working with the special ed programs in Mass. She has a PhD in this and continues to work as a consultant with the state.
