New to UUism or want to brush up on your history? Watch this two-minute video “History if Unitarian Universalism” from the UUA.

Excerpted from the UUA web site:

“Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religious tradition that was formed from the consolidation of two religions: Unitarianism and Universalism. In America, the Universalist Church of America was founded in 1793, and the American Unitarian Association in 1825. After consolidating in 1961, these faiths became the new religion of Unitarian Universalism through the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA)…

Since the merger of the two denominations in 1961, Unitarian Universalism has nurtured its Unitarian and Universalist heritages to provide a strong voice for social justice and liberal religion.”

Would you like to learn more or discuss other aspects of Unitarian Universalism, attend one of our upcoming newcomer events.

Becoming a member allows you to you cast your vote on issues related to budgets, mission and vision, and strategic directions of the church.

Our members are our church.

Though we have membership rituals a few times each year, the formal act of becoming a member is done when you sign our membership book, which can be done at any time.

If you are ready to become a member now, Rev. Rebecca would welcome a chance to meet with you and witness your signing of the book. You can email her at RevRebecca.Bryan@frsuu.org.
