Members of the Community Outreach Committee invite you to join us in celebrating the holidays with a “High Tea” on Thursday, December 12, in the Lower Meetinghouse, from 3– 5pm. Enjoy tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts while sharing with others your holiday memories past and present. We hope to see you there! Setup from 1-3pm; cleanup from 5-6pm.

    Fridays, LMH Room A, 10-11:30am. We meet weekly and read both fiction and non-fiction books chosen by participants. Each book is read and discussed over a period of several meetings, with the reading for each determined by the group.

  • Cookie Walk

    Stop by FRS during Newburyport's Holiday Invitation Nights on December 13th to enjoy the cookie walk and historic church tours! Activities will run from 4pm - 8pm. Shoppers can choose from a large assortment of holiday cookies, which are $3 for a bag of three cookies. Buy four bags and get a fifth one for free. Visitors can take tours of the church built in 1801 and praised as a fine example of New England's Federalist-style churches. The 20-minute tours will start every 15 minutes, with the last tour at 7:30pm. Donations are welcome.
