An opportunity to meet other Parish Friends, ask questions, and brainstorm. If interested in simply learning more about Parish Friends, this would be a great forum. We realize mornings don’t work for everyone.   • FRSUU Poetry Group (Zoom)

    Meets Thursdays (previously on Tuesdays) on Zoom at 11am. The FRSUU Poetry Group is open to all who enjoy reading or listening to poetry. Prompts or questions are provided as we listen multiple times to one poem a week.     Thursday, June 18, LMH Main Room, 1-2:30pm. Do you ever read a poem and realize that you didn’t know how you were feeling until someone else put it in words for you? Join us at Exploring Elderhood Together’s last program of the church year as we share and discuss poems about getting older. Bring poems that you like about getting older; if we have time, we’ll talk about them, too. Light refreshments will be served after our program, so plan to stay.

  • Mild Cognitive Impairment Support Group

    2nd and 4th Mondays, LMH Room A, 11am-12:30pm. This group, for those who have a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment of some type of dementia, offers members an opportunity to share with others who are facing this-life limiting diagnosis. Members can be vulnerable and open about the many challenges they face, as well as their adaptive coping mechanisms. The group is facilitated by Nancy Kidd, LICSW; Rev. Jane Tuohy; and Linda Harding.
