Sunday, April 19, Parish Hall 1st Floor, 11:30am-1pm. The Justice Sunday potluck, immediately following the service, will be for church attendees. After a free public event at 1pm in the Sanctuary, we will have a reception in the Parish Hall, open to the public, with beverages and light snacks and tables for local farmers to promote their farms and produce.
Sunday, April 19, Sanctuary, 1pm Guest speakers will include Stacey Apple, Iron Ox Farm; Andre Cantelmo, Heron Pond Farm; and Vanessa Johnson-Hall, Greenbelt. Free and open to the public. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
Sunday, April 19, Parish Hall 1st Floor, 2:30-4pm. This event is open to the public.
Change of day as of April 6, 2026: meeting weekly on Mondays, Robing Room, 10-11am. Centering Prayer is a form of Christian Contemplative Meditation. The purpose of this meditation is not to clear the mind as much as it is to open oneself to the presence of the Divine and invite the action of the Divine within. No previous experience or training is required. This form of Contemplative prayer is a practice in resting in the presence of God through non-thinking surrender and to form a deeper relationship with the Divine. 3rd Mondays, LMH Room A, 11am-12pm
First and third Mondays, LMH Nursery/Conference Room, 11am-1pm. Join other makers from our FRSUU community for our Maker Monday offering on the first and third Monday of each month. Bring a creative project, or start a new one, and connect with others. All are welcome. Craft supplies available. Note: Although Rev. Laurel is no longer leading this group, we hope that our makers continue meeting!

Monthly on the third Monday, LMH Main Room, 3:30-5pm
Monday Night Meditation at 6:30pm in Lower Meeting House (enter via Unicorn Street entrance). These weekly sessions are led by Joyce Haydock, Senior Dharma Teacher with the International Kwan Um School of Zen. She has been with the school since 1989. This FRSUU Monday group was established over ten years ago. Our sessions consist of two or three chants, two readings/teachings and 30 minutes of sitting meditation. Beginners are welcome.
