Meets Thursdays (previously on Tuesdays) on Zoom at 11am. The FRSUU Poetry Group is open to all who enjoy reading or listening to poetry. Prompts or questions are provided as we listen multiple times to one poem a week. Jane As millions of Americans are horrified by the violence unleashed on immigrants and innocent protestors, many of us are experiencing emotions of fear, anger, and anxiety. This is a time to lean into the collective warmth, wisdom, courage, and calm of our Beloved Community. These sessions will be small gatherings where we can express all of the emotions that we are experiencing and pray together for the restoration of unity and freedom in our country. First Thursdays beginning October 2, LMH Nursery/Conf Room, 6-7pm. Join Rev. Laurel for an informal monthly conversation in which we ponder the mysteries of life’s big questions. What is evil? Is goodness inherent? What happens when we die? Bring your questions and your curiosity.

Saturdays, January 10 - February 14, Hayward Room, 9-10am. (Setup from 8:30-9am) This is a beginning class focused on turning stress into resilience, offered by Pamela Erickson, RYT 200, and a lifelong educator. The classes are free, however, 50% of any donations (optional) will go to the church. Participants should bring a yoga mat, towel or small blanket, and water with them. Second Sundays starting September 14, LMH Room A, 9:30-10:30am
Sundays, Sanctuary, 10:30-11:30am with livestream on YouTube. Join us for worship from the Sunday after Labor Day through late spring. Experience elements of the world religions, including our Christian roots and humanism. Find inspiration in choral and instrumental music (including organ), congregational singing, a time for children, readings, an offering, and meditative silence. Hear a sermon on social justice, spirituality, dealing with life’s challenges, or other issues. We may celebrate a holiday, act out a skit, or hold a coming-of-age ceremony. Services are usually followed by a 30-minute fellowship gathering or a monthly Justice Sunday program.
