Another winter season is upon us! We are excited to announce the 2026 Jean C. Wilson Music Series, featuring an inspiring lineup of artists offering beauty, connection, and joy in the heart of winter. All programs will be presented live in the Sanctuary and online on YouTube at 4pm.

February 1 – Palaver Strings: Based out of Portland, Maine, the Grammy-nominated, musician-led and nonprofit organization Palaver Strings seeks to strengthen and inspire community through music. Committed to performance, education, and creative collaboration, Palaver specializes in programming underrepresented voices. The term “palaver” comes from the term “palaver hut,” a traditional place for discussion and conflict resolution in Liberia and other West African countries.

March 1 – Kevin Neel, organ: A versatile performer who also collaborates as a pianist, conductor, and singer, Kevin Neel holds a Master of Sacred Music degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University in Organ Performance. As an organist Kevin has performed in many venues including Symphony Hall in Boston; the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, GA; Methuen Memorial Music Hall; and Church of the Advent and Trinity Church in Boston. A sought-after organ teacher, Kevin currently directs the All Saints Choir in Worcester, MA.

March 29 – Portsmouth Brass Quintet: This chamber group is comprised of brass players from the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra. Members include Adam Gallant, trumpet; Greg Bechtold, trumpet; Orlando Pandolfi, horn; Brandon Newbould, trombone; and Jim Griswold, bass trombone. The quintet offers an entertaining and toe-tapping afternoon of musical theater and jazz transcriptions for brass.

April 12 – The Kalliope Reed Quintet: Founded in 2019, Kalliope is the first professional reed quintet in New England. Hailed by the Boston Woodwind Society as “a fantastic musical group full of personality and musical abilities, Kalliope is one of the first 50 reed quintets worldwide. Their mission is to expand and diversify the reed quintet repertoire in the 21st century by presenting unique, engaging, and educational programs to communities locally and worldwide.
