Join FRS member and LICSW Woman Cooper on Wednesdays at 10am for a brief period of mid-week relaxation and renewal. Each 30-minute session will include a guided visualization and reflection on questions around where we hold stress and how we can release it. Indivisible Democracy Defense Community Team

Second Wednesdays beginning September 10, LMH Main Room, 7-8:30pm. A newly forming Indivisible Democracy Defense Community Team is being organized to promote resistance to rising authoritarianism and threats to our democracy. Indivisible is the nationwide organization that has been a key organizer of the No Kings and Good Trouble resistance marches. This is an action-oriented group. Now, Indivisible leaders are encouraging the formation of community-based teams to engage in non-cooperation with the rise of authoritarianism in this country through non-violent resistance. Organizers for this community gathering are Barbara Dowd, Nicole Whelan, and Rev. Jane Tuohy. Individuals who are interested should contact Rev. Jane at jane.tuohy@frsuu.org.
