    Thursday, May 7, Parish Hall 1st Floor, 6:30pm. FRSUU and other faith-based, labor, and social justice groups in the Newburyport area are working with the Merrimack Valley Project to form a coalition to protect the rights of everyone who lives here. The Merrimack Valley Project works to unite groups to work toward social, racial, and economic justice, especially for immigrant and other marginalized communities. We are facing unprecedented threats to our immigrant neighbors and friends. How can we work together to ensure that our community is safe for them? Join us for a workshop on how to strengthen communities through organizing, and to start the conversation on what we can do to protect our neighbors and prepare for the challenges of the future.
