FRS Habitat is a band of volunteers building homes in Salisbury for qualified low-income first time home buyers. We have been working on these homes in the heat of summer and the current winter chill. We are far enough along so that there are both outside and inside tasks for the team to tackle. Could your list of New Year’s resolutions include a contribution of your time and talent to this worthy project?

FRS Habitat has agreed to line up eight to a dozen volunteers to work on the third Saturday of each month. Interested in joining this effort? Committed to forging new connections in 2020? Then contact FRS Habitat by email (FRSHabitat@gmail.com), ask for more information, and sign up for the third Saturday in January—January 18th– and any of the following third Saturdays this year.

No special skills are required. Orientation, training, and plenty of practice are available to you. If you are talented in building things, you are especially welcome.

Curious how the project is coming along? You can drive by the building site at 22 Old County Road, Salisbury.
