Another successful FRS Book Sale, held during Yankee Homecoming 2018, earned a total of $965.63. Many thanks to those who donated books and other media for re- purposing! The help of energetic volunteers to sort, set up and sell books, then pack up remainders to be moved on made the four-day event happen in a timely and efficient manner. Many thanks to the following helpers for generously giving their time: Cecelia and Paul Healy, Juliana Beauvais, Florence and John Mercer, Patricia Reeser, Rob Burnham, and William Clary.

Of course, the Book Sale wouldn’t get too far off the ground without the talented FRS staff who coordinated spaces, advertised, and rolled-up their sleeves to make it happen. Big thank you to: Nichole Salemi, Diane Young and Kristen Fehlhaber.

The remainder books were picked up by Boston-based More Than Words, “a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.”

Thanks to all involved for your tremendous support!Tom Pagel
