Sunday, February 9, What in the World is Soup Sunday?

Soup Sunday is a favorite fellowship tradition here at FRS! Hosted by the Hospitality Committee, it is held monthly from October thru April in the Parish Hall after worship service. Homemade soups are served; along with cornbread, fresh fruit and vegetables, and desserts. In addition to chili, we’ve served various soups including ribollita, butternut squash, mulligatawny, lentil carrot, vegetable, curried squash and mushroom, and tortellini. It’s a perfect season for soup, so please join us Feb. 9, after service in the Parish Hall for soup and fellowship. A free will $5 donation is requested, but no one will be turned away. To-go servings will be available if you have a meeting after church or if you’d just like to take some home. Contact Mary Sortal, 781-367-5624. Hope to see you there!
